The Dry Eye Society of the Americas (DESA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, dedicated to advancing awareness, education, and collaboration to improve the lives of those affected by dry eye disease.

DESA is proud to have the most recognized and respected experts in dry eye disease, representing ophthalmology, optometry, research, and clinical innovation from around the world join our mission.

what is DRY EYE DISEASE?

Dry eye disease is multifactorial, meaning it can have many contributing causes. Because of these varied causes, dry eye disease can look different from person to person and often requires individualized evaluation and treatment.
